Protection of a robot exposed to brine

A food-industry robot was being prepared for operation in an area where water with a high salt concentration appears naturally as part of the production process. This created an environment in which moisture and brine would be present on a daily basis, influencing the conditions around the equipment.

At the workstation, brine was present in the form of splashes, fine mist, and settling droplets generated during normal production steps.
